Is it possible to create teams or departments? We have two sides of our business and I want to separate what each team member can access based on their department (especially the conversations). I understand there is the user permission option of “only assigned data” but that doesn't work if there are pools of leads or simply team based projects. An “assign to team” option would be nice.
I've considered creating separate sub-accounts for each side of the business but I think that'll create unnecessary hurdles and not be received well upon resell.
Any input is appreciated!

The original post in the GoHighLevel Official Facebook group is asking if it is possible to create teams or departments within the software. The user explains that their business has two sides and they want to separate what each team member can access based on their department, specifically regarding conversations. They mention that the “only assigned data” user permission option does not work for them because they have pools of leads and team-based projects. The user also considers creating separate sub-accounts for each side of the business but is concerned about the potential hurdles and reception upon reselling.
In response to this question, GoHighLevel does allow for the creation of teams and departments within the software. This can be done by utilizing the user permission settings and creating specific roles for each team or department. By assigning different permissions to each role, you can control what each team member can access within the software, including conversations.
Additionally, GoHighLevel offers an “assign to team” option, which allows you to assign leads and projects to specific teams or departments. This simplifies the process of organizing and managing tasks within the software.
Creating separate sub-accounts may not be necessary as GoHighLevel's team and department features can effectively meet the user's needs. It is recommended to explore these features and customize the user permissions to align with the business's requirements.
