Client Fills Out a Survey in GoHighLevel and Streams Ahead

By | April 10, 2023

This seems like a tricky one.

Client fills out a survey in GHL, then client goes to a webpage that shows dynamic content based on what they filled out in the survey.

The tricky part is, the form connects to a 3rd party that gets data from a credit report. The data comes back into GHL and fills out custom fields.

All of this happens in maybe 10 to 20 seconds. Is there a way to show results on that webpage the client lands on after filling out the survey which is the data from the custom fields that get updated?

The original post discusses a scenario where a client fills out a survey in GoHighLevel (GHL) CRM software. After submitting the survey, the client is redirected to a webpage that displays dynamic content based on their survey responses. The challenge is that the survey form connects to a third-party service that retrieves data from a credit report. This data is then sent back to GHL and used to populate custom fields. The entire process needs to happen within a short timeframe of 10 to 20 seconds, and the question is whether it is possible to display the updated custom field data on the webpage the client lands on.

In relation to GoHighLevel software, this scenario highlights the platform's capabilities for integrating with third-party services and automating data flow. GHL's API and webhook functionalities can be utilized to connect with the third-party credit report service and retrieve the necessary data. The retrieved data can then be mapped to specific custom fields within GHL, ensuring accurate and streamlined information.

To display the updated data on the landing page, GHL's dynamic content features can be leveraged. By using merge fields or variables that correspond to the custom fields, the webpage can pull and display the relevant information in real-time.

While this scenario may require some advanced knowledge of GHL's API and dynamic content features, the platform offers the necessary tools for achieving this functionality. You can probably get someone to write you a quick script that would have like a 10-20 second countdown timer with some text that mentions “please wait while we process your request”
And then you can do an auto refresh of the page.

Quick and dirty way of getting it done.
