I have an issue where when typing www. Sends you to 404 and without www. Works fine. How do I setup redirect for the homepage from www to non www.

One user in the “GHL Experts” Facebook group is facing an issue with their GoHighLevel CRM software. They are experiencing a problem where typing “www” before their website's domain name leads to a 404 error page, while accessing the website without “www” works fine. The user is seeking guidance on how to set up a redirect for their homepage, specifically from www to non-www.

This issue is related to website configuration and domain settings rather than the specific functionalities of the GoHighLevel CRM software. However, if users are hosting their website on the GoHighLevel platform, there might be some specific steps or guidelines available within the system to set up the desired redirect.

To resolve this problem, the user can try various approaches. One option is to directly configure the redirect in their website's hosting or domain settings. This can usually be done through the domain registrar's control panel. Another approach might involve utilizing the GoHighLevel platform's features or custom scripts to handle the redirect.

For a detailed solution and insights on how to set up the redirect from www to non-www for GoHighLevel CRM software users, it is recommended to read the comments below this article or check the source link for any responses and updates on this topic.

when you click on add domain there is a link to a tutorial of how to add www as CNAME in your DNS. if that link is not updated it points to a Youtube video that says “outdated” but there is a new link in the description that shows you how to do so

You will need to change you DNS Settings, Have the www cname pointed to same host where you root domain is pointed.
