GoHighLevel Troubleshooting: Assistance Needed with Email Campaigns After Creating Email

By | July 21, 2023

Happy Friday! I am having issues with Email Campaigns. I have created my email subdomain with the correct the DNS records and tried to send out around 50 emails today to warm up my email subdomain. All my emails were unsubscribed which is not normal. Does anyone know why this is happening?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Title: Troubleshooting Unsubscribed Emails in GoHighLevel's Email Campaigns

Summary:
A member of the GoHighLevel Official Facebook group recently shared their frustration regarding an issue with Email Campaigns in GoHighLevel (GHL). They mentioned that despite setting up the email subdomain correctly and sending out 50 emails to warm it up, all of their emails were unsubscribed, which is not a normal occurrence. The individual sought assistance from the community to understand the reason behind this occurrence.

Insights:
Unsubscribes usually occur when recipients actively choose to opt-out of receiving further emails. However, in this case, the user claimed that all of their emails were unsubscribed, which suggests an unusual issue.

Potential causes for emails being automatically unsubscribed in GoHighLevel could include:

1. Email Filters: Some recipients may have aggressive spam filters or email settings that automatically unsubscribe emails from unknown senders.
2. Poor Email Deliverability: If the email subdomain warm-up process is not followed correctly, ISPs may categorize the emails as spam, leading to an increased number of unsubscribes.
3. List Quality: If the mailing list contains outdated or wrongly included contacts (e.g., purchased lists), recipients may unsubscribe due to unfamiliarity with the sender.
4. Email Reputation: Low sender reputation, caused by previous spam complaints or poor engagement rates, can result in unsubscribes as recipients lose trust in the sender.

To resolve this issue, it is recommended to:

1. Check Email Filters: Advise the user to ask recipients to check their email filters and ensure that they have not automatically unsubscribed the emails.
2. Review the Warm-up Process: Verify that the email subdomain warm-up process was followed correctly to improve deliverability and avoid spam filters.
3. Evaluate List Quality: Ensure that the mailing list consists of engaged, opted-in contacts to minimize unsubscribes.
4. Monitor Sender Reputation: Regularly check the sender's reputation and take proactive measures to maintain a positive reputation through high-quality content and engagement.

Heidi Arwood Perhaps your DNS setups are incorrect after all… 🧐🤷
    For example you don’t need anything after p=none;
