Good morning! I have my emails running through gmail SMTP configuration (Not LC) but my delivery rate is low. I just sent a batch of 10 and only 6 were successful. Is there a reason for this and how can I increase it to 100%?

Good morning! A member of the “GHL Experts” Facebook group is experiencing a low delivery rate of their emails when using Gmail SMTP configuration in GoHighLevel (GHL). Out of a batch of 10 emails sent, only 6 were successful. They are seeking advice on the reason behind this issue and how to increase their delivery rate to 100%.

When using Gmail SMTP configuration in GHL, there could be several factors affecting the delivery rate. One possible reason could be that the emails are being marked as spam or facing deliverability issues. GHL has built-in spam detection algorithms to filter out potential spam emails and ensure high deliverability rates.

To increase the delivery rate, it is recommended to follow email best practices. Firstly, ensure that the email content is engaging, relevant, and personalized to the recipients. Avoid using spam trigger words and phrases that might lead to the email being marked as spam.

Secondly, regularly clean and maintain your email list to remove invalid or inactive email addresses. This will help improve the overall deliverability rate.

Additionally, it is advisable to configure proper email authentication settings such as DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) and SPF (Sender Policy Framework) to authenticate your email sending domain. This will help establish trust with the email recipients' servers, resulting in higher deliverability rates.

Test your emails with Mail-Tester.com and with Mailgenius, send an email from your account to the test email they give you, and once you do, they’ll tell you what to do.
