Hello, I’m new to GoHighLevel platform and online agency work in general: My Experience So Far

By | July 18, 2023

Hello, I'm new to the GHL platform and online agency work in-general. I've had a successful IT career for 20 years but after the birth of my son, I want to build something to replace my career so I have more time to watch him grow and have as much energy as possible to live the best life with him and my wife.

I signed up for the trial and have setup the reputation management services automations, and the website creation automation. I also made my agency page using GHL (https://trustedagencyservices.com/).
I love seeing all the stories and success here in this community, so I'm wondering what do you think I should do next? Do you have any feedback?

Right now I think I just want to find a client or two to cover the cost of the platform and then scale from there.

As a newcomer to the GoHighLevel (GHL) platform and online agency work in general, this individual is seeking advice on what steps to take next. After a successful IT career spanning 20 years, they now want to build something that allows them more time with their family and the flexibility to enjoy life to the fullest. The user has already signed up for the GHL trial and has set up automations for reputation management services and website creation. They have also created their agency page using GHL.

With an aim to cover the cost of the platform initially, the user is looking for feedback on how to proceed and scale their agency. They are open to suggestions and appreciate the success stories and support within the GoHighLevel community.

If you have insights or experiences regarding starting an agency and scaling it using GoHighLevel software, make sure to share your expertise in the comments section below or check the source link for more responses and updates on this topic. Cheers to the user for taking the first steps towards building a thriving online agency!

Local businesses need help with reputation management which is one of the services you provide and other services like web development and automation could be a great upsell based on the opportunities available at the right time, Dean Alley.

I like how colourful the website looks 😊

I would check out Beant Singh and Stephanie Blair at Extendly.

Stephanie created the ghl academy and it will teach you absolutely everything you need to know about high level. They also have a white label version for your customers that’s killer.

Beant created a 24/7 support service and it’s amazing. I’ve been with them for years now. They offer a ton of high quality snapshots you might want to check out. Here is a video they did with Paulson Thomas on “Selecting A Niche For Your SaaS” https://youtu.be/fDHFEFWfnYI

Let me know if you want to see some links for the other stuff I mentioned, I would be happy to share

    1. Sell the results, not the service.

    2. Your first list of prospects should be people you are already acquainted with, who already know and trust you. No need to go all over the world looking for clients, there are plenty opportunities within your own network.

    3. Learn how to cold call and cold email/DM, preferably within a small radius of where you’re located.

    4. Set up an account with Meetup. Go to in person networking events, hand out your business card and a flyer that highlights the results and value of what you do.

    You’ll land clients like this.
