Quick question I have here:
Im listening to a someone speak about some services they provide to their clients and one of them they mentioned was “reputation management”. As they were speaking, they talked about having essentially a gated review system saying “we only send review request to people who are 4 stars and over” by creating a page to see where the review.
My question hereis; Is this not against the terms and service of Google or am I wrong?

Regarding the specific question about using a gated review system, it's important to note that Google's terms and services may evolve over time. However, as of now, there doesn't seem to be a specific guideline from Google explicitly disallowing such practices. Businesses often use gating systems to ensure that positive reviews are highlighted and potentially negative reviews are dealt with internally.
However, it's always recommended to stay updated with Google's terms and services regarding reviews and reputation management. It's possible that certain practices may be frowned upon or even prohibited in the future.

Yeah it’s against Google’s TOS.
Some people like to tempt fate. Hopefully they have good liability insurance.
So much easier with in person services where you can review gate face to face lol
