Unable to Find a Satisfactory Answer in the FB Group or HighLevel Software

By | July 19, 2023

Could not find a good answer to this question in this FB group or in the HighLevel support portal…

Multiple phone number and one user…

I know you can assign a phone number to a user, but to my understanding you cannot assign multiple phone numbers to a user.

Example #1: Sub-account with ONE user. Let’s say the user is running FB ads to California and Florida, and they want to reach out via SMS to the lead with the CA or FL number (depending on where the lead is from) again only with ONE user.

Example #2: Sub-account with MULTIPLE users. In this example lets say there’s 2 users, and they have ads running in Florida and California and they have a CA and FL number, but each user wants to use both phone numbers simultaneously.

Best solution/work around? Or is this something coming soon?

One user in the GoHighLevel CRM software is looking for a solution to assign multiple phone numbers to a user. In Example #1, the user wants to reach out to leads from California and Florida with different phone numbers. In Example #2, multiple users in a sub-account want to use both phone numbers simultaneously for their respective ads in California and Florida.

Currently, GoHighLevel does not have a built-in feature to assign multiple phone numbers to a user. However, there are a couple of workarounds that can potentially address these scenarios.

For Example #1, one possible solution is to use a third-party SMS service that allows for dynamic number insertion. This way, the user can customize the outgoing SMS message to include the appropriate phone number based on the lead's location.

In Example #2, each user can create and manage their own separate sub-accounts within GoHighLevel. This would allow them to have their own designated phone numbers and ads for different locations.

It is important to note that these workarounds may have their limitations and may require additional setup and integration. It is always recommended to consult with GoHighLevel support or the community for further guidance and updates on this topic.

Shaun Clark I saw you said this was something coming about two years ago. Any news? And I figured that A2P/10DLC had something to do with slowing this down?
