Who has the inside scoop on GoHighLevel software?

Who is in the know?

I've bought a UK number via GHL, and I'm currently testing it. I have asked some of my clients in the UAE to test this number ( booking AI system) It doesn't show up or activate the SMS sequence. What would be the reason for this?
Anyone?

In the GoHighLevel Official Facebook group, a user has posted a question regarding a UK number they purchased through GoHighLevel (GHL) CRM software. They are currently testing it by asking their clients in the UAE to test the number with their booking AI system. However, the SMS sequence is not showing up or activating for them, and they are seeking insights into the possible reasons for this issue.

From a GHL perspective, it is important to note that this CRM software offers a wide range of features, including SMS capabilities, to streamline and automate business processes. However, it is difficult to pinpoint the exact reason for the issue without more information.

There could be several potential reasons for the SMS sequence not activating for the UK number in question. It could be a compatibility issue between the purchased UK number and the UAE network. The user might need to investigate whether the UAE network supports SMS messaging from international numbers. They can reach out to GHL support or consult the GHL community for more specific guidance on this matter.

Additionally, they may want to ensure that the SMS sequence has been properly set up within their GHL account. Double-checking the sequence settings, triggers, and targeting criteria is recommended. If there are any issues with the sequence configuration, it could result in the SMS not being activated as expected.

To get a better understanding of the problem and potential solutions, it is advised to read the comments below this article or check the source link provided for responses and updates from fellow GHL users or GHL support team.

It only works properly in the same country the number is from.

Same issue in Spain – people recieve SMS messgaes but the replies don’t get through.

You’d need a UAE number, not sure if that’s possible though. Maybe you can get a real one and port it in to Twilio. That’s what HL support told me to do to get a Spanish number.

Anthony, you’re not going to get an SMS number in Dubai for anything less than $10k USD. You’re talking mainland setup plus all the regulation and fees for programmatic texts. It’s why the only sms you get are from banks, careem, the booze shops and the big car dealers. Hair salons and barbers use Fresha app because they provide the local numbers in a pool.

Get Applevel or WAGHL and do WhatsApp messages. You know we all live on WA here.
